Rippey Lions Club – The Rippey Lions Club will meet for its annual Christmas potluck meal and sharing Christmas carols following the business meeting. The meeting is Thursday, Dec. 1. Please note the meal and the meeting will begin at 6:30 pm instead of 6 pm.

Winter Reading Challenge – The Rippey library is hosting a winter reading challenge: Curl Up with a Good Book. The challenge starts Dec. 12 and runs through Feb. 10. For teens and adults, read or listen to two books and win a prize. For children, read or listen to five books and win a prize. Register for the winter reading challenge at the Rippey library.
Story time at the Rippey library will be held every Tuesday in December at 4 pm. Teen programs will be held every Wednesday in December at 4:15 pm, while adult events will be held every Thursday in December at 3 pm.
Hanaman travels – Dale and Nancy Hanaman traveled to Superior, WI, to visit with Sarah and Benji Pearson and family over Thanksgiving and to celebrate their granddaughter Andrea’s, 16th birthday. They also visited with their granddaughter Elizabeth when she returned to the University of Wisconsin at River Falls.
